Xuanmin Jin was born in Wenzhou - Zhejiang, 1963. He has settled in Shanghai since 2004 and started the first personal photography studio , mainly working on interior design and art photographing.

Xuanmin Jin soon received international acclaim for his design works, his interior design “meet east and west” was published in famous magazine in 2005, that he won the nomination of best office space award in the “Golden Award for The Bund”. Next he became a member of IBBS which was most famous design forum in China.

In M50 Creative Garden, a personal photography exhibition was successfully held in July, 2005;since then, Jin’s photography career was started. With nearly 10 years’ experience in design, he showed unique command of perspective, color and composition, which brought strong visual appeal to the photos. New works kept coming out, not only attracted the attention of many buyers and collectors, but also established long-term cooperation with design companies and picture associations.

Cooperating with , Jin became a contributing photographer for interior design case in 2006.

Work series “Shanghai Shikumen” was published in on September, 2006.

In 2007, Jin became he contributing photographer of Shanghai>, and established long-term cooperation; Also established cooperation with Mark Peet Visser Gallery (Holland); Another photography gallery was opened in Tianzifang Art Space. 

Jin was invited to take part in the group exhibition in the Shanghai Gallery of Art-Three on the Bund (one of the most influential gallery in china) on March, 2008.
