The Murinsel

Vito Acconci had finished one of the awesome project design called The Murinsel, A man-made floating island and artificial floating platform in the middle of the Mur river in Graz, Austria. On the outside there is an amphiteatre at the center, and on the inside there’s a cafe Below a twisted round dome and a playground. The design is so modern unique artistic, just like a giant sea shell measures 50m in length and 20m in width. Two footbridges connect it with both banks of the Mur. The Murinsel is built for a maximum number of 350 visitors.
